Cancellation
More than 7 days before: full refund. Between 7 days and 48 hours: 50% refund. Less than 48 hours: non-refundable.
At pick-up
So there are no surprises, here's what the agency will ask for.
- Your passport
- The agency keeps it during the rental and returns it when you bring the car back. Keep a copy or another ID for your hotel and road checks.
- Your driving licence
- Held for at least 2 years. Minimum age: 21.
- The deposit
- From €500 to €1,000 depending on the category, in cash. It's returned when you bring the car back.
- The rental balance
- The remaining 80%, paid directly to the agency.

How does booking work?
You choose a car category, a location and dates. You pay 20% of the price online to confirm. The agency confirms the booking, then you pay the rest and the deposit on the spot when you pick up the car.
How does the deposit work?
The deposit depends on the category: €500 for economy or compact, €600 for a sedan, €750 for an SUV or 7-seater, €1,000 for premium. It's paid in cash to the agency and returned when you bring the car back in the same condition.
Why does the agency keep my passport?
In Algeria, most agencies only have third-party insurance. Your passport is their guarantee during the rental, and it's returned when you bring the car back. We recommend keeping a copy or another ID for your hotel and road checks.
What if the agency isn't there or cancels?
That's our guarantee: we refund you in full and find you a car of the same category or better, at no extra cost.
